We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Wokingham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and managing complex cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in your care. This position is offered on an Umbrella basis at a competitive rate of £41.65 per hour.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to junior social workers and support staff.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and case conferences to ensure a cohesive approach to safeguarding.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
