Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Assessment Team for Wokingham Borough Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families in line with statutory duties.
* Complete Section 17 (Child in Need) and Section 47 (Child Protection) enquiries.
* Manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
* Work directly with children and families, building strong professional relationships.
* Identify risks and develop appropriate safeguarding plans.
* Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated support.
* Maintain accurate, analytical, and up-to-date case recordings and reports.

Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working

Pay Rate:
* £42 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' experience in children's social care
* Experience within Assessment or Duty teams
* Social Work England Registration
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and assessment frameworks
