Qualified Social Worker - Adults Learning Disability Team
Location: Warwickshire
Pay Rate: Competitive (Dependent on experience, typically £30-£35 per hour)
Contract: Full-time, Locum
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join the Adults Learning Disability Team in Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities by supporting them to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake strength-based assessments under the Care Act 2014
Develop and review person-centred care and support plans
Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and contribute to Best Interest decisions
Safeguard vulnerable adults in line with the local authoritys policy
Work collaboratively with health professionals, care providers, and families
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
Support service users to access appropriate housing, employment, and community services
Requirements:
Social Work England registration
Degree in Social Work or equivalent
Proven experience working with adults with learning disabilities
Knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant legislation
Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment
