We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment & Intervention Team in Cardiff. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for working with children and families to assess their needs and provide support and intervention where necessary.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide a holistic approach to support families
  • Attending court hearings and providing evidence as required
  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
