Join our dedicated team in Wirral as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's Permanence and Assessment and Intervention Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans to support children in achieving permanence.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide interventions that promote positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure. Prior experience in children's social work, particularly in assessments and intervention, is highly desirable. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are also required to meet the needs of the role.
