Birmingham Children's Trust is seeking experienced and passionate Social Workers to join their ASTI (Assessment and Short Term Intervention) service. The team handles initial assessments, short-term work and child protection investigations, ensuring the best outcomes for children and families across the city.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of children and families requiring assessment and short-term interventions
* Undertake Section 47 investigations and Child and Family Assessments
* Make decisions on thresholds, risks, and appropriate planning
* Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure timely safeguarding action
* Attend strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and court proceedings when required
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records on all cases



Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
