Advanced Practitioner- Adults safeguarding - Devon
Social Workers required as an Advanced Prac. for work within the Adult Adults safeguarding Team in the beautiful North Devon area. Based in Yealmpton. Rates up to £41ph. Full and part time positions available. 3 month minimum contract. Exciting opportunity in a lovely coastal area. Flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
Candidate must be:
* Social Worker.
* At least 5yrs post qualifying experience.
* Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interests, Deprivation of Liberty, Care Act 2014 - Good legal literacy.
* Able to provide comprehensive and effective management skills and supervision to the team.
* Able to manage the day to day waiting lists and reviewing function.
* Able to provide support and guidance to the team and duty function.
* Be able to deputise for team manager as required.
Ability to respond promptly, carry out proportionate assessment and recording, working closely with community colleagues and health partners as required. Skills in Mental Capacity Assessment, establishing Best Interests and safeguarding.
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
