Are you an experienced Safeguarding Officer with a strong understanding of adult safeguarding legislation and practice? Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a skilled Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join their Safeguarding & Triage Team.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake triage of safeguarding concerns in line with Section 42 of the Care Act 2014.

Lead and manage Section 42 enquiries, ensuring a person-centred approach.

Assess risk effectively and develop proportionate safeguarding plans.

Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to safeguard adults at risk.

Make defensible decisions under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Essential Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker (degree or equivalent) with current Social Work England registration.

Proven experience within adult safeguarding, including managing Section 42 enquiries.

In-depth understanding of the Care Act 2014 and its application in safeguarding practice.

Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills.

Ability to prioritise and manage a dynamic caseload effectively.
