Rate: £40 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a skilled and proactive Occupational Therapist to join our Prevention and Early Intervention Service. This flexible, community-based role plays a vital part in promoting independence and reducing the need for ongoing care and support.

About the Role:
As part of a focused project, you will work with service users receiving double handed care to assess whether care packages can be optimised using moving and handling equipment, specialist advice, and support for care staff. You'll contribute to enabling single handed care, improving outcomes and independence for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy assessments aimed at reducing double handed care

Recommend and facilitate appropriate equipment and adaptations

Work collaboratively with service users, care providers, and health professionals

Record and evidence interventions and outcomes effectively

Support hospital discharges and prevent unnecessary admissions

Act as a key link between health and social care systems

HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
