Eden Brown are working with a private client based in the north west of England are on the look out for a number of Speech and Language Therapists to work in a number of different teams. The roles have come about due to the companies expansion where they require a new service.

Locations: Various positions available around Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside

Salary: Up to £45,000 per year

Position: Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (Permanent)

Job Description:

As a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist at our new service, you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their communication and language development goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • To provide a speech and language therapy services to children, directly and through support to their families and the multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide speech, language and communication assessments for pupils / prospective pupils in consultation with the multi- disciplinary team and other SLTs and SLTAs
  • Keep accurate records and provide written reports
  • Set targets for therapy and monitor progress
  • Provide intervention on an individual or group basis as required
  • Develop and demonstrate SLT programmes and groups for pupils
  • Hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision

- AAC

- Dysphagia

Qualifications:

  • Speech and Language Therapy Degree or Masters
  • Experience working with children who have complex needs, their families and the Multi-agency team
  • Registration with RCSLT and HCPC
