Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Rate: £38 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid (attendance varies depending on court hearings, CIC reviews, and statutory visits)
Role Overview:
Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CIC) Court Team. This role involves managing a caseload of court proceedings, completing assessments, preparing court reports and statements, and undertaking statutory visits. You will be a key part of the CIC team with a specific focus on court work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children involved in court proceedings
- Conduct assessments and statutory visits
- Prepare detailed court reports and statements
- Carry out duties of a case-holding social worker
- Work closely with Children in Care teams with a court-focused function
Requirements:
- Proven experience within Children in Care and court proceedings
- Strong report writing and court statement experience
- Ability to manage complex caseloads efficiently
