The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Safeguarding Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within our community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess needs, manage risks, and implement safeguarding plans that promote positive outcomes for individuals and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
- Providing advice and support to families and carers, helping them navigate complex situations.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding adult boards.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with service users.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
