Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to share information and coordinate services effectively.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and assessment work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
