The Role
- Undertake early safeguarding enquiries to identify and respond to risk.
- Provide expert child protection advice within family proceedings.
- Visit children and families to assess needs, risks, and lived experiences.
- Complete detailed assessments and provide robust analysis.
- Prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports for the Family Court.
- Make clear, child-focused recommendations based on best interests and welfare.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience working within Family Court / Court proceedings.
- Strong safeguarding and risk assessment experience.
- Ability to prepare analytical, high-quality court reports.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Working Pattern
- Monthly office attendance.
- Weekly virtual team meetings.
- Initial induction will include a blend of remote and office-based working.
Interview Process
- Candidates must complete a written exercise upon application submission.
- The exercise must be returned within 72 hours.
- Successful candidates will be invited to a Microsoft Teams interview with two Service Managers.
- This is a rolling campaign and interviews will continue until all roles are filled.
