Harrow - Advanced Prac - LAC / Leaving Care - £41.10 p/h Umb
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Looked After Children / Leaving Care Team for Harrow Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide advanced social work practice and professional leadership within the Looked After Children and Leaving Care Service.
* Manage a reduced caseload of highly complex cases involving looked after children and care leavers.
* Complete statutory visits, assessments, pathway plans, reviews, and permanency planning to a high standard.
* Support young people preparing for independence and ensure effective transition into adulthood.
* Mentor and coach Social Workers, promoting reflective practice and high-quality case management.
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and improve outcomes.
* Maintain accurate, timely case recordings and reports in line with statutory requirements and local policies.
Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working.
Pay Rate:
* £41.10 p/h Umb.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
* Significant post-qualifying experience within Childrens Social Care.
* Extensive experience working within Looked After Children and/or Leaving Care Services.
* Experience supporting and mentoring Social Workers or leading practice.
* Social Work England Registration.
* Thorough knowledge of relevant childcare legislation, safeguarding procedures, and statutory guidance.
