Bolton - TM - Leaving Care Team - £45 P/H Umb
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join the Leaving Care Team at Bolton Council.
Pay Rate: £45.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: BL2 2JW, Bolton
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated Leaving Care Team, supporting young people as they transition into independent adulthood. You will provide effective leadership to the team, oversee complex casework, ensure statutory duties are met, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for care leavers.
As Team Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and developing social workers, monitoring team performance, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance, and promoting high-quality practice across the service.
Key Skills Required:
* Previous Team Manager experience within Children's Services
* Experience working within a Leaving Care or Care Leavers Team
* Strong leadership, supervision and performance management skills
* Excellent knowledge of legislation relating to Care Leavers, Pathway Planning and safeguarding
* Experience managing complex cases and supporting staff development
* Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills
* Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous management experience within Children's Services
* Strong knowledge of children's social care legislation, statutory guidance and Leaving Care responsibilities
