About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a MAST Team in Calderdale Council. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team environment and contribute to delivering high-quality services for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload and completing high-quality assessments
- Supporting children and families through effective intervention and safeguarding practice
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals
- Contributing to child protection and court-related processes where required
- Supporting good practice standards within the team
Requirements
- Valid Social Work England registration
- Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising social workers is desirable
- Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills
