We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Sutton. This role offers an attractive rate of £37.52 per hour on an Umbrella basis. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and young people with disabilities and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Providing advice and guidance to families, empowering them to access resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the CWD Team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working in a children’s social work setting, particularly with children with disabilities.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective intervention plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals.
