Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join the Safeguarding Team at Bolton Council.

Pay Rate: £45 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Castleton Street, Tonge Moor, Bolton, Lancashire, BL2 2JW, United Kingdom

As a Team Manager in the Safeguarding Team, you will lead and manage a team of social workers delivering high-quality safeguarding services. You will oversee complex and high-risk cases, ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities, and drive best practice across the team. You will play a key role in supporting staff development, maintaining performance standards, and ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Skills Required:

Experience managing Safeguarding/Children's Social Care teams
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and child protection processes
Ability to oversee complex casework and ensure timely interventions
Experience in supervising, mentoring, and supporting social workers
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
Registered with Social Work England
Significant experience within children's services, ideally in a leadership role
5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
