We are looking for an experienced Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)to work within our team to oversee allegations against professionals and volunteers who work with children.

The role is Hybrid, with most Allegation Management Meetings being held virtually.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Case Management: Oversee, monitor, and guide the handling of allegations to ensure investigations are thorough and fair.
* Meeting Facilitation: Chair complex allegations management meetings with multi-agency partners.
* Advisory Role: Provide vital advice and support to employers, schools, and voluntary organizations regarding safer recruitment and risk management.
* Reporting & Compliance: Ensure employers make mandatory referrals to regulatory bodies (e.g., Ofsted and DBS) and produce analytical reports
