Eden Brown Synergy is currently looking for an experienced & dedicated Senior Social Worker for Leeds City Council to join their Children looked after Team.

Payrate: £35 p/h Umb

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking Risk Assessments
  • Producing Annex B reports
  • Undertaking Regulation 38 Assessments
  • Undertaking Special Guardian Assessments
  • Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children'/ young people's needs
  • Preparing & implementing Care Plans
  • Attending court and giving evidence when required
  • Obtaining Interim Care Orders/Interim Supervision Orders
  • Initiating Care Proceedings
  • Completion of Care Proceedings
  • Obtaining Special Guardianship Orders
  • Producing Child Permanency Reports
  • Reviewing Financial payments received by kinship carers/ or carers granted Residence Orders/Special Guardianship Orders
  • Preparing looked after children review reports
  • Initiating Personal Education Plans (PEP's)
  • Producing Health Care Assessments and Health Plans
  • Making referrals for Foster Placements
  • Preparing children for placements
  • Implementing Twin Tracking processes for children in care proceedings
