We are currently seeking an experienced Advance Social Worker to join a Youth Justice Team based in North Somerset. 37 hours a week, 3 month+ contracts 37 hours per week and an exceptional rate of between £42 for experienced workers. Good transport links off the M5. Hybrid working

North Somerset Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Social Worker to join its Youth Justice Service on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people, helping to reduce offending, improve outcomes, and support long-term positive change.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a complex caseload of children and young people involved with the Youth Justice Service.
Undertake comprehensive assessments, intervention planning, and risk management.
Prepare high-quality reports for courts, panels, and multi-agency meetings.
Work directly with children, young people, and their families to address offending behaviour and promote positive outcomes.
Collaborate with partner agencies including education, health, police, probation, and childrens social care.

You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
