We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a busy Children in care Team based in North Somerset. 37 hours a week and 3 days to be in the office, 6 month+ contracts and an exceptional rate of between £38-40ph for experienced workers. Good transport links off the M5.

North Somerset Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a busy Children in Care Team. This is a fast-paced role working with children and young people in care, ensuring their safety, stability, and long-term outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of children in care (LAC).
Undertake statutory visits, care planning, and reviews.
Work closely with foster carers, residential settings, and partner agencies.
Contribute to pathway planning and permanence planning.
Prepare reports for court and statutory meetings where required.
Promote the welfare, safety, and best interests of children and young people.

You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
