Pay Rate: £37.99 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: L2 2BS, Liverpool
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Help (MASH) Team at Liverpool City Council.
As a Qualified Social Worker within the Family Help (MASH) Team, you will be responsible for receiving and screening referrals, assessing levels of risk and need, and making informed threshold decisions to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time. You will work within a fast-paced multi-agency environment, collaborating with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
Key Skills Required:
- Previous experience within MASH, Family Help, Duty & Assessment, Child Protection or Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and threshold decision-making
- Experience screening referrals, undertaking risk assessments and managing complex safeguarding concerns
- Excellent assessment, analytical and report writing skills
- Strong communication and multi-agency partnership working abilities
- Ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining high standards of practice
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Social Work England registration
- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practice
