Liverpool - Family Court Adviser - WAFH (public & Private Law ) Team - £34.00 p/h Umb
CAFCASS is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Family Court Advisor to join their Work After First Hearing, Public and Private Law.. This key role ensures a consistent and child-focused response at the earliest stages of involvement in family court proceedings.
Location :- Liverpool (covering Cheshire and Merseyside)
Pay rate :- £34.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safeguarding advice, assessment and analysis to the Family Court
* Complete in-depth risk assessments in Public and Private Law proceedings (WAFH)
* Ensure the child's voice and best interests remain central to all work
* Produce clear, high-quality court reports and recommendations
* Work directly with children and families to support safe outcomes
* Collaborate with judiciary, solicitors, local authorities and partner agencies
* Support timely case progression following the first hearing
* Manage a high-volume caseload within strict court timescales
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
