Are you an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced frontline team? Liverpool City Council is seeking a dedicated QSW to join their CASS / MASH Family Help Team, where you will play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families at the earliest stage.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming referrals within CASS/MASH
  • Undertake timely screening, triaging, and decision-making on referrals
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to gather and share information
  • Assess risk and determine appropriate thresholds for intervention
  • Provide high-quality analysis to inform safeguarding decisions
  • Support early help interventions and ensure families receive the right support at the right time

🔹 Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Proven experience within MASH, CASS, or frontline safeguarding teams
  • Strong knowledge of UK safeguarding legislation and frameworks
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
