We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Out of Hours Team in Croydon. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and managing complex cases involving children and families in crisis.

  • Collaborating with partner agencies and stakeholders to coordinate appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns.
  • Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Providing guidance and support to less experienced staff and volunteers within the team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and crisis intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
