As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and managing the needs of young people aged 16 and above in care.
- Developing and implementing care plans that promote independence and well-being.
- Providing guidance and support to junior staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Building positive relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working with young people in a social work context, particularly within the CIC and LAC frameworks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young people and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage a varied caseload.
