We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Southwark Assessment Team in the South East region. This role offers a competitive rate of £37.50 per hour and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.

Key responsibilities and duties of this position include:

  • Conducting assessments and reviews to identify the needs of service users
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and their support networks
  • Providing support and guidance to service users to promote their well-being and independence
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support for service users

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

In addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with the following attributes will be preferred:

  • Experience working in a similar role within a statutory setting
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to social work practice
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards
