We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced PERM Children's Social Worker to join our CIC/Court Team in Northamptonshire. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families involved with the Children in Care (CIC) and Court systems.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and reviews of children and families to ensure their needs are met
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and stakeholders
  • Attending court hearings and providing evidence-based reports to support decision-making
  • Working closely with children, families, and carers to promote positive outcomes and safeguarding
  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional development

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in working within Children's Services, particularly with CIC and Court cases
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in social work practice
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills

In addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in court proceedings, child protection, and working with complex cases will be highly desirable. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment, receive ongoing training and development, and contribute to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in Northamptonshire.
