We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Team in Bath and North East Somerset. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to adults with learning disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and reviews to identify the needs of individuals with learning disabilities
  • Developing and implementing care plans that promote independence and well-being
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to ensure holistic support for service users
  • Advocating for the rights and choices of individuals with learning disabilities
  • Participating in safeguarding procedures and promoting a culture of safety and protection

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in working with adults with learning disabilities in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in adult social care
