We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join Sutton's Childrens Services team on a 6-month maternity leave cover. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support disabled children and young people through complex equipment and adaptation cases, working collaboratively across agencies.

Rate: £36.56 per hour (via umbrella)

Location: Sutton (hybrid working may be possible)

Contract: 6 months maternity cover

Start: ASAP

Role Overview:
You will manage a varied caseload of major adaptations and equipment provision for children and young people with disabilities. Working within a supportive team, youll assess needs, make recommendations, prepare reports, and ensure effective service delivery within available resources.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess and manage complex equipment/adaptation cases for disabled children and young people

Provide professional guidance to multi-agency staff and internal colleagues

Prepare clear and detailed reports and recommendations

Collaborate with housing providers, health partners, Home Improvement Agencies, and voluntary sector services

Maintain accurate records for monitoring, decision-making, and auditing purposes

Contribute to service improvement and development through working groups and training

Requirements:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

Experience in paediatric OT including equipment and adaptations

Excellent report writing and case management skills

Strong multi-agency working experience

Good understanding of legislation, government guidance, and best practice in childrens disability services
