Eden Brown Synergy is working in partnership with Knowsley Council to recruit an Experienced Social Worker for their Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner passionate about supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
* Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people with disabilities.
* Undertake timely, holistic assessments under The Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families.
* Create and implement care plans reflecting the child's views, needs, and wishes.
* Manage a complex and varied caseload, delivering high-quality direct work with children.
* Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to ensure coordinated support.
* Maintain accurate case records and prepare reports to a high standard.
* Provide informal supervision and guidance to newly qualified social workers and ASYE candidates.
* Demonstrate a commitment to anti-oppressive practice and continuous professional development.

Essential Criteria:
* Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent qualification.
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Solid understanding of safeguarding practices and legislation relevant to children with disabilities.
* Experience working with children and families in statutory settings.
* Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and support multi-agency planning.
