Brent - Team Manager - Children with Disabilities Team

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead our Children with Disabilities Team in Brent. As a key member of our Care department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Manage and support a team of social workers and support staff to ensure effective casework and timely interventions for children with disabilities.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and training to team members to enhance their professional development and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement care plans and strategies to meet the specific needs of children with disabilities and promote their well-being and safety.
- Collaborate with external agencies, professionals, and stakeholders to coordinate services and support for children and families, advocating for their rights and best interests.
- Monitor team performance, outcomes, and budgetary requirements to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to regulatory standards.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration and substantial experience in children's services, particularly in the field of disabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence in their work.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices related to children with disabilities and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
