Social Worker- Birth to Settled Adulthood - East Dorset

Social Worker required for work within the Birth to Settled Adulthood Team in the Disabilities arena for Dorset Council. Team is based in Wareham in east of the county. Dorset are offering good rates up to £38-42ph for the right candidates. Long term contracts offered in a well managed supportive team. 3 months initial contract 37 hrs per hour. Flexible Hybrid working.

We are seeking a skilled and committed Locum Social Worker to join our Birth to Settled Adulthood service to provide maternity cover from March. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people aged 0-25 with a wide range of disabilities, supporting them and their families through key stages of their development.

The role also includes close collaboration with our Preparation for Adulthood (PfA) colleagues. Together, you will support young people and their families to plan for adulthood, explore opportunities, and work towards achieving their goals and best possible outcomes.

Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England
* Experience in childrens services
* Experience in disability services preferred but not essential
* Strong partnership working skills across agencies and disciplines
* Ability to work autonomously and handle a varied caseload
* Own transport essential due to the rural nature of North Dorset

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
