Redcar and Cleveland - Sr. QSW - Through Care Team
EDEN BROWN SYENRGY is currently looking for an experienced & committed Senior Social Worker for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established Through Care Team.
Roles & Responsibilities (R&R):
- Holding and managing a complex caseload of children and young people within the Through Care Team
- Undertaking statutory visits, assessments, care planning, and pathway planning
- Supporting looked-after children and care leavers to achieve positive outcomes
- Working closely with families, carers, schools, and partner agencies
- Attending court proceedings, reviews, and multi-agency meetings where required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements
- Ensuring safeguarding concerns are identified and managed effectively
- Promoting the welfare, independence, and wellbeing of children and young people
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration.
- Driving license and access to own vehicle.
