  • Chair and follow up Child Protection Conferences and Children in Care Reviews
  • Ensure children's wishes and feelings are given due weight in care planning
  • Monitor Local Authority performance to ensure good outcomes for children in care
  • Support service development and participate in complaint investigations
  • Manage complex cases and make professional decisions in line with best practice

βœ… Essential Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures, legislation, and best practice
