Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist - Community OT Team
Location: 869 Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17 4UH, Waltham Forest
Rate: £37.44 per hour (Limited/Umbrella)
Work Pattern: 2 days in office, 3 days remote

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Community OT Team in Waltham Forest. You will work alongside two locum colleagues to help reduce the waiting list for OT assessments, support independence, and contribute to a business case for extending contracts. A key focus will also be identifying savings in care packages through the provision of equipment to enable greater independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct OT assessments in people's own homes to promote independence
  • Work collaboratively with the Community OT Team to manage workload efficiently
  • Contribute to business planning and reporting on assessment outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to reduce care package costs through equipment provision
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Experience working in social services teams (hospital-only experience not sufficient)
  • Proven ability to assess service users in their own homes and promote independence
