Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting initial assessments and ongoing reviews of children's needs.

  • Providing support and guidance to foster carers and residential staff.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.

To thrive in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly with Looked After Children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
