Qualified Social Worker - Duty & Assessment Team
Location: Bury (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £39 per hour Umbrella
Contract: Locum
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty & Assessment Team in Bury.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy frontline service, undertaking assessments and safeguarding interventions to support children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of children and families requiring assessment and intervention.
- Completing Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory requirements.
- Undertaking Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries.
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate case records and completing reports within timescales.
- Participating in duty responsibilities and responding to new referrals.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registration.
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience within Children's Services, particularly in Duty & Assessment, Safeguarding, or Frontline teams.
- Strong assessment, safeguarding, and risk management skills.
- Enhanced DBS check.
