Hull City Council is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join their Duty & Assessment Team on an interim basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established manager with a strong frontline safeguarding background to lead a busy Duty & Assessment service within a supportive local authority.

Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and supporting a team of Social Workers within the Duty & Assessment Team
* Overseeing assessments, child protection enquiries, and safeguarding interventions
* Providing supervision, guidance, and performance management
* Ensuring high-quality practice and positive outcomes for children and families
* Working closely with multi-agency partners and senior management

Requirements:
* Social Work England registration
* Previous Team Manager experience within Children's Services
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, assessment, and child protection processes
* Ability to manage performance and support team development

Contract Details:
* £40p/hr Umbrella
* Hybrid working arrangement
* Competitive local authority contract
