Lancashire - Team Manager - Duty and Assessment (Front Door) Team
Lancashire Council is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to join their Duty and Assessment (Front Door) Team.
Location :- Chorley Library, PR7 1EB
Payrate :-£42.00 Per hour (Umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage a Team: Supervise a team of Social Workers in responding to children and families in need of help and protection.
- Support Families and Build Relationships: Work closely with families to create positive, long-term changes focused on the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Strength-Based Approach: Adopt and promote a strength-based approach, focusing on both the strengths and challenges families face, ensuring genuine partnership with the communities served.
- Team Development and Growth: Foster the development of your team by nurturing their potential and creating a positive work environment to elevate team performance.
- Promote Continuous Learning: Lead by example to encourage continuous learning and excellence within the team, driving commitment to improve practice and services.
- Inspire and Influence: Utilize exceptional communication and influencing skills to instil confidence in your team, partners, and stakeholders, driving motivation and a shared commitment to service excellence.
- Enhance Service Delivery: Oversee and improve service delivery to meet and exceed the needs of children and families, striving for consistently high standards.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analysis, Ofsted reviews, and insights to identify and address service challenges, ensuring continuous professional growth and service improvements.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Foster strong, trusting relationships with internal teams, partners, and communities to enhance collaboration and service outcomes.
- Model Best Practices: Ensure adherence to best practices and high standards, reducing errors and improving overall team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive a Culture of Excellence: Establish and maintain a culture of service excellence, motivating the team and encouraging pride in their work
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
