We are seeking an experienced Council Tax Manager to join a local authority team in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled revenues professional to lead and support the effective delivery of council tax services, ensuring high standards of customer service, compliance, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee day-to-day council tax operations and service delivery
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to revenues teams
* Ensure accurate billing, collection, recovery, and account management processes
* Monitor performance against targets and implement service improvements
* Handle complex council tax enquiries, escalations, and statutory matters
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

Essential Experience:
* Strong experience within council tax/revenues in a local authority environment
* Proven ability to manage teams and deliver effective services
* In-depth knowledge of council tax legislation, regulations, and processes
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
* Experience managing change and improving service performance
