Join our dedicated team in Wirral as an Advanced Practitioner within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) for the Adult Safeguarding Team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding vulnerable adults, working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the highest standards of care and protection. Your expertise will be critical in assessing complex cases, providing guidance to social work staff, and developing effective safeguarding strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns.
  • Providing expert advice and support to social workers and other professionals in the MASH.
  • Leading case discussions and ensuring effective communication between agencies.
  • Developing and implementing safeguarding plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Contributing to training and development initiatives for team members.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
