Advanced Practitioner - Adults safeguarding- Somerset
Advanced Practitioner required for work within the Adult Safeguarding Team in the Taunton area of Somerset. Excellent rates of pay up to £44ph. 37 hours per week, 3 month minimum contract but possibility to extend. Exciting opportunity in a lovely area with good transport links from M5 for neighbouring authorities. Hybrid role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled social work professional who is passionate about safeguarding adults, supporting best practice, and providing leadership within a busy statutory setting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a complex caseload of safeguarding enquiries and assessments.
Provide expert advice and support to social workers and multi-agency partners.
Lead on safeguarding investigations and risk management planning.
Promote strengths-based practice and person-centred approaches.
Support practice development, mentoring, and coaching within the team.
Contribute to service improvement and quality assurance activities.
Work collaboratively with health professionals, care providers, families, and partner agencies.
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
