Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Family Safeguarding Team at Bury Council. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled social worker looking to step into a leadership role while continuing frontline practice within a supportive and progressive local authority.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality supervision and support to social workers within the team
- Manage a complex caseload involving safeguarding, child protection, and court work
- Lead on decision-making in high-risk cases and provide expert guidance
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Support service development and contribute to improving practice standards
✅ Requirements:
- Social Work England registration
- Significant post-qualified experience within Children's Services
- Strong background in safeguarding, CP, and court proceedings
- Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced social workers
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and communication skills
