Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join Leicester City Children's Social Care. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated and supportive team delivering high-quality services to children and families across the region.
Location: Leicester City
Rate: £45.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Agency
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office

The Team

The service supports children and young people who are subject to:
  • Child in Need Plans
  • Child Protection Plans
  • Care Proceedings
As part of this dynamic and forward-thinking service, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring children and young people achieve positive outcomes, maintain meaningful family relationships, experience stability, and remain safe.

The Role

As Team Manager, you will:
  • Lead and manage a team of Social Workers delivering high-quality, child-focused practice.
  • Ensure assessments, interventions, and care planning are responsive to children's needs and circumstances.
  • Drive performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional support to Social Workers, alongside an Advanced Practitioner.
  • Contribute to service development, practice improvement, and a positive team culture by leading through example.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Previous Team Manager or extensive management experience within Children's Social Care.
  • Strong knowledge of Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and performance management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and support best practice.
