Trafford - Advance Practitioner - Children in Need Team
Trafford Council is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Advance Practitioner to join their Child in Need Team .
Location: TALBOT ROAD, MANCHESTER, GREATER MANCHESTER, M32 0TH
Pay Rate: £37.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Key Responsibilities: -
- Work within the Child in Need Service, focusing on children and families requiring social work assessment
- Conduct assessments and planning to support children in need and their families
- Complete duty on a rota basis, handling a varied caseload
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries and complete child and family assessments
- Manage cases of children supported through child in need planning
- Build relational partnerships to strengthen work and facilitate safe step-down of plans
- Coach, support, and supervise designated staff or students
- Support the professional development of team members
- Ensure compliance with relevant qualifications and employment history checks
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
