Cheshire East - QSW - Integrated Front Door(MASH) Team
Pay Rate: £39.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: CW1 2JZ, Cheshire East
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Integrated Front Door (MASH) Team at Cheshire East Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), where you will play a key role in safeguarding children by screening referrals, assessing risk, making timely threshold decisions, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time.
You will be responsible for reviewing referrals, undertaking risk assessments, gathering information from partner agencies, and making informed decisions to safeguard vulnerable children while ensuring interventions are appropriate and proportionate.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience within a MASH, Integrated Front Door, Duty & Assessment or Safeguarding Team
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, threshold decision-making and risk assessment
- Experience screening referrals and undertaking timely statutory assessments
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, analytical and report writing skills
- Strong multi-agency working experience
- Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practice
