Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team at Cheshire East Council.

Pay Rate: £39 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: CW1 2JZ, Cheshire East, United Kingdom

As a Social Worker within the CWD Team, you will work with children and young people with disabilities and their families, completing assessments, safeguarding interventions, care planning, and multi-agency work to achieve positive outcomes. You will be expected to build strong relationships with families while ensuring children remain safe and supported.

Key Responsibilities:
* Undertaking Child in Need, Child Protection, and statutory assessments
* Working closely with children with complex needs and disabilities
* Completing care planning and safeguarding interventions
* Working collaboratively with education, health, and partner agencies
* Managing a varied caseload and maintaining accurate records
* Supporting families through a child-focused and strengths-based approach

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Experience within Children with Disabilities or Children's Services
* Strong safeguarding and assessment experience
* 5 years references, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
